- A Micro T split septum t connector, validated for use with the Hummi should be attached directly to the catheter hub being accessed with the Hummi Micro-Draw transfer device.
- All necessary collection devices and accessories (such as site prep, blood gas or sample syringes etc.) should be present.
- Appropriate apparel, i.e. gloves, goggles, gown, etc. if required for protection from exposure to blood borne pathogens.
- Dispose of the Hummi Micro Draw in an approved biohazard container.
